How to Build Your Brand on Social Media

Social media is a powerful tool for scientific communication. In this workshop, attendees will learn to maximize their social media presence and build their brand. This workshop will include choosing a platform, tips on content sharing and engagement, and will finish with a Q & A session.

Changing Minds/Creating Rapport

This workshop will focus on providing tools for effective communication. We will focus on teaching how to craft strong messages and building rapport with cultural awareness. We will utilize the principles of Alan Alda's communication books and the Master Communicator's Handbook.

K-12 Science Outreach and Education
